PS Vita version delayed
First, according to our Publishing team, We have no release date planned for the PS Vita version. Our aim to release Q1-Q2 2018. We have set the goal to take our time to polish the game up as much as we can. What we mainly want is to add more features to the PS Vita version. We are planning to release in the regions North America and Europe.
The first thing we are announcing is the engine. For our smartphone releases, we used the Unity3D engine. This engine is the most efficient at the moment, and our programmers prefer to port the smartphone version to the PS Vita. Unity is a cross-platform game engine developed by Unity Technologies and used to develop video games for PC, consoles, mobile devices, and websites.
Second, there are a few things that we want to feature exclusively in the PS Vita version. In addition, PSN Trophies and leaderboards are features that we have in mind. Perhaps multiplayer through the PlayStation Network infrastructure, though we can’t confirm this just yet. The PS Vita version will be a more enhanced Saddies: Attack!! than the smartphone and STB versions. In conclusion: More info regarding this version will come when the time is right!
Google Play version
The Android (mobile) version of Saddies: Attack!! will have some control changes in regards to the Windows PC version but are almost identically. Similarly, the mobile version has a scaled down version of the Windows version’s graphics. However, this shouldn’t be an issue. The mobile version of Saddies: Attack!! also uses motion control in order to control the spaceship and uses touchscreen functions to shoot. Therefore, these changes makes sure that the player is engaged and actively trying to avoid enemies by tilting the device. Saddies: Attack!! for Android will be available worldwide* through Google Play on June 4th 2017.
In conclusion, the mobile experience will be different from the PC experience. Feel free to try both versions!
